A natural progression from our Outreach program, the Coalition is a group of advocates for best practices in rescue and sanctuary. We have core tenets that we hope to instill in smaller, newer or inexperienced rescues. We have experience and tips we can share to make their growth easier. And by forming a cohesive flock, we can offer support through tough times. We will work to mentor newer rescues in the hope of helping them not only succeed, but to apply the best standards of care that they can for their birds.<\/p>\n

Are you a person who has the heart to rescue birds but just doesn’t know what to do next to “become a rescue”? You’ve come to the right place. We’re here to mentor you, whether it be help filling out forms, help reaching out to volunteers, building a relationship with an avian vet, or even help setting up your organization’s care protocols. We can answer questions with knowledge based on proven best practices and established standards of care.<\/p>\n
