But at Marden\u2019s Ark, love looks a little different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dishes, the REAL neverending story<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n It usually looks like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Romantic, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2728 swoon<\/em>\u2728 <\/p>\n\n\n\n Because here\u2019s the thing no one puts on a greeting card:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Love isn\u2019t a noun. It\u2019s not something you say. It\u2019s:<\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s paying attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s sacrifice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s choosing them over convenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sometimes it\u2019s even choosing them over your favorite molding. People think rescue is big dramatic moments \u2014 heroic saves, happy endings, slow-motion music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But honestly?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Most of it is just\u2026 consistency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The same bowls. Day after day after day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Because to a parrot \u2014 a prey animal with a long memory and a sensitive heart \u2014 safety is love<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Predictability is love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Good food is love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Clean water is love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Understanding them instead of trying to control them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n That\u2019s love too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So no, we don\u2019t usually celebrate Valentine\u2019s Day with fancy toys or themed treats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We celebrate by doing what we always do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We show up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And if you support us \u2014 whether you donate, share posts, or send kind messages \u2014 you\u2019re doing it too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You\u2019re not just saying you care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You\u2019re proving it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And honestly?<\/p>\n\n\n\n That\u2019s the kind of love that lasts longer than chocolate anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n (Although if someone invents bird-safe chocolate, call me immediately.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Happy Valentine\u2019s Day Every February, the stores fill up with hearts.
