Although her background is in managing human diets for fragile patients with multiple co-morbidities and various dietary restrictions, she's applied much of her knowledge of basic nutrition and physiology towards establishing best dietary practices for the birds in her care. She's currently studying towards certification as a Certified Master Herbalist, and uses knowledge of herbs and botanicals to augment and sometimes replace traditional pharmaceuticals - under the guidance and advice of the organization's Director of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Christine Eckermann-Ross. \r\n\r\nHer hobbies include caring for over 100 birds full-time at Marden's Ark, to art including pointillism, and cleaning.
